- Compare weights: The higher value between the actual weight and the volumetric weight is used to calculate the shipping cost.
Example:
If a package measures 20cm x 20cm x 25cm, the calculation would be:
Volumetric weight = (20 x 20 x 25) / 5000 = 2 kg
If the actual weight of the package is 1 kg, the shipping cost would be based on the volumetric weight of 2 kg.
